WE: Do you want help?
Our 2-year-old son: Nope!
WE (shrug shoulders and walk away)
2-y-o (walks behind us screaming “Nope! Nope! Nope!” and flailing his hands)
It took us a few days to figure out that in Peter-ese, “Nope”=”Help”
